Tendinopathy

Tendinopathies are a common musculoskeletal presentation in the physiotherapy and sports medicine spheres, and are often a result of overuse. Common examples include patella tendinopathy, achilles tendinopathy and lateral epicondylalgia (tennis elbow). Here, we summarise the general presenting features of tendinopathy and outline the basic principles that underpin the treatment of tendinopathies.
